MEET THE SPEAKERS

Dominic Moulden, ONE DC Member

A community organizer in Washington, DC for over three decades, Dominic was the Resource Organizer for Organizing Neighborhood Equity (ONE DC), a collectively led organization that builds people power and economic and racial equity in the nation’s capital. In that capacity Dominic recruited, trained, and coordinated a 34-member team to spearhead the successful campaign to raise $1.2 million for a building to permanently house the Black Workers and Wellness Center.

Michael Houck, Co-Manager of Operations, Serve Your City/Ward 6 Mutual Aid

Michael Houck was born and raised in Washington, DC, in the Anacostia neighborhood in Ward 8. As a youth he noticed rapid economic and structural changes happening both in his community and his city. He wanted to learn how to organize and fight against the oppressive challenges that affected him and his people, so he started his organizing journey in high school. Today, Michael manages Serve Your City/Ward 6 Mutual Aid’s tech program and resource distribution efforts on a daily basis.
