Important Budget Hearing Dates, May DCGIC Meetings and more!

We need your voice now more than ever to drive change in our community! As we gear up for upcoming budget oversight hearings, we have some crucial updates and calls to action and your participation is vital to advancing the goals of the DCGIC!

  • Committee of the Whole (Thursday, April 25th, 10am-3pm): Your testimony here can shape policy in significant ways. We urge you to advocate for DCTC support in the Budget Support Act during your Committee of the Whole testimony.
  • CFSA Budget Oversight Hearing (Thursday, April 25th, 9am-6pm): Let’s oppose spending that perpetuates family policing and surveillance.
  • Support OSVJG Funding (Thursday, April 25th, 11am-4pm): Advocate for funding for legal services to alleviate the burdens of poverty.

Your advocacy matters, and together, we can create meaningful change. Thank you for your dedication and support in advancing our community’s well-being. Let’s make our voices heard loud and clear!
